3. Repair and Replacement Methods for Severe Wrinkles

• When the protective film is severely wrinkled, simple scraping and pressing will be difficult to repair, and partial replacement or complete re-application may be necessary.
• Carefully lift the film in the wrinkled area. If the film is intact and the adhesive layer is intact, clean the panel and re-align and reapply.
• If the film is torn, stretched, or the adhesive layer has lost its stickiness due to repeated application, cut a new protective film of the same specifications and cover the wrinkled area, fitting it tightly against the edge of the original film to prevent new gaps.
• When reapplying the entire film, thoroughly clean the panel and strictly follow the standard procedures to prevent further wrinkling.

4. Preventative Measures for Subsequent Film Applications

• Before applying the film, thoroughly clean the color-coated steel panel to ensure it is free of dust, oil, and impurities. Wipe it repeatedly with a dry cloth until dry if necessary.
• Choose a suitable application environment and avoid low temperatures or strong winds.
• Control the speed of application, first securing the film at one end and then slowly unrolling it toward the other end.
• Simultaneously use a scraper to press and expel air, thus reducing the possibility of wrinkles at the source.
