How to Prevent Mirror Protective Film from Creases During Transportation

Protective Film Packaging Guidelines
- Choose Appropriate Packaging Materials: Use soft cushioning materials—such as bubble wrap or EPE foam—laid flat on a rigid base, ensuring the entire surface is covered and edges extend slightly to prevent impact-induced creasing.
- Standardize Film Securing Methods: Secure the film’s edges with wide tape applied evenly to the packaging material (never on the functional surface) to avoid localized stretching and adhesive residue.
- Implement Layered Separation: When shipping multiple sheets, insert smooth release paper or plastic film between each sheet, align edges precisely, and stack flat to prevent friction, adhesion, and compression creases.
- Strengthen the External Structure: Place the wrapped film in a rigid carton or plastic box, fill voids with cushioning, tape all seams, and label “Do Not Squeeze” and “Handle Flat.”
- Manage Transport Environment: Keep the film horizontal, handle gently, avoid prolonged bending or tilting, provide shade in high temperatures, and insulate in cold conditions to prevent softening, brittleness, and creasing.
