  High-quality films are manufactured from inherently water-resistant materials such as polyethylene. The smooth, non-porous surface ensures liquid water cannot seep through; minor spills or condensation simply bead up and roll off without reaching the underlying carpet.
• Actual Moisture-Proof Performance:
  In daily use, the film reliably shields against light moisture—small spills, condensation, or brief exposure during the rainy season—delaying water ingress and allowing time for cleanup. It is not, however, a substitute for professional moisture-proofing systems.
